NOLA On Tap Beer Fest

September is a great month to be in New Orleans! Is is jam-packed with fun events and festivals. Below are some of our favorites, but be sure to check out our events calendar for all of September's action.

Shrimp & Petroleum Festival

This Labor Day weekend festival is held about an hour southwest of New Orleans in Morgan City, LA, and it is definitely well worth the drive! Bring the whole family and enjoy a full carnival, arts & crafts, a shrimp boat parade, a 5K, live music and so much more! It will be held September 1-5 and is FREE, but be sure to bring money for expenses like food, drink, and rides. We love this festival and think you will too! See you there!

Louisiana Seafood Festival

What does Louisiana know about seafood? Everything! And we will show you at the Louisiana Seafood Festival which will be held in City Park September 2-4. Boasting dishes by some of the most renowned Louisiana chefs and restaurants, prepare to have your palate pampered. Enjoy live music from top acts like The Village People, Blood, Sweat & Tears and many more! And if you are in the mood to shop, there will be an Art Village featuring unique gifts. Proceeds from this fun fest will benefit the Louisiana flood victims. We will see you there!

NOLA On Tap Beer Fest

Join 25,000+ beer lovers and enjoy over 400 different brands of beer at the NOLA On Tap Beer Fest. It will be held at City Park on September 24th. There will be live music all day (of course!) and scrumptious food from many of New Orleans top vendors. And proceeds benefit the Louisiana SPCA.

Fried Chicken Festival

New Orleans welcomes the Fried Chicken Festival! This will mark the first year of this festival dedicated to that classic Southern dish, fried chicken. And boy are we excited! It will be held in Lafayette Square on September 25th. Bring the whole family and enjoy delicious chicken, live music, a "Best Fried Chicken" contest and more!

Saints Games

Our beloved Saints take the field at the Superdome three times in September. They close out the preseason on Thursday, September 1 at 7pm against the Ravens. Then open the regular season against the Raiders on Sunday, September 11 at 12pm. They play our rivals, the Falcons, on Monday Night Football September 26.
